Steven Rogers
Steven James Rogers (Dancer), born in Perth, Western Australia, started dancing at the age of 6. Studying and training in the styles of Ballroom and Latin led him to travel and compete both nationally and internationally as an Australian representative to world championships. He went on to become the champion of the World Gold Cup in London, Blackpool Finalist, South Pacific Champion and the Australian Champion. Steven expanded and furthered his dancing by attending John Curtain College of the Arts studying styles such as Spanish, tap and specialising in Classical, Ballet and Contemporary dance. He later continued to study full time at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. In 2009 Steven joined the touring cast of BURN THE FLOOR performing throughout China and USA and he is excited to make his debut in the main cast performing in New Zealand.
